Mahi-Mahi have a wide range and are found in tropical and subtropical waters throughout the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific Oceans, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

This unique fish is bright and colorful. Since mahi-mahi matures quickly, and is so widely distributed it is somewhat resistant to fishing pressure, although strong management is needed to keep populations healthy.

Mahi has firm, pinkish flesh that cooks up white with a mild but distinctive flavor. The skin is tough and almost always removed before cooking.

Fun Fact: Mahi-Mahi are the fastest growing fish in the ocean.
